Studies carried out on goji berry have shown that, in addition to high levels of immuno-stimulating polysaccharides, it also has exceptional antioxidant properties. Goji berry is classed as a superfruit. Richer in antioxidants (flavonoids, tannins, other polyphenols and vitamin C) than the average fruit, it is said to have health benefits.
